The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse has released new resources to help share information about its work with the community.
A new factsheet about entitlements for witnesses, who are called to appear at a public hearing, is now available on the Royal Commission website. The factsheet outlines the financial and legal entitlements that may be available including travel expenses, witness appearance fees and assistance with legal costs.
Our Facebook page now showcases a series of short 30 second videos highlighting the various aspects of our work. This includes videos for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We encourage you to share these videos with your networks.
A plain English pictorial explaining the role of the Royal Commission and how people can contact us is also now available. The pictorial will be of use to support services, advocacy groups and individuals who may be supporting people to come forward to the Royal Commission. The pictorial may also be of use for children or young people or people with a disability. This resource is available to order for free via the Resource Centre on our website and can be mailed out to your address.
These new resources complement the existing selection of brochures, factsheets and DVDs that are already available to order for free on the Royal Commission Resource Centre.
