PWDA uses a human rights framework in our policy work, and we have a long history in working for an end to abuse, violence and neglect of people with disability. We are engaged at a global level through our involvement in the United Nations, at the national level through our involvement in the Royal Commission and the Stop the Violence Project, and at the local or community level through advocating for quality disability service provision.
